How many times have you found yourself moving something down your “to do” list--over and over again? Or how often have you delayed calling that friend that keeps coming to your mind? Do you ever try to rationalize why you’re not following through on something that you feel inside you’re being “nudged” to do?
I’m good at putting off things—but I want that to change. Our 2007-2008 Women’s Ministries theme “The Time is Now” is based on 1 Peter 1:13: “Therefore, prepare your minds for action; be self-controlled; set your hope fully on the grace to be given you when Jesus Christ is revealed.” We believe our ministries call women to action, connection and involvement. We want to encourage women to be committed to immediate obedience in their walk with Christ—not to put off or delay.
