Patchworks Quilt Ministry Our purpose is to express Jesus' love in a tangible way through the gift of a quilt. We meet to make simple quilts to give to the Fox Valley Pregnancy Center in South Elgin. Our desire is that Patchworks function as a ministry, not as a quilting group. Quilts are merely the means we use to touch others' lives with Jesus' love. A sewing machine is necessary but quilting experience is not - we have many members who are willing to teach the basics of quilting. Fabric and batting are provided, or you may bring your own. We invite you to join us! Meets: East Campus, Rooms 201-202, from 9a.m.--Noon, usually the second Saturday of the month. Meeting dates for the remainder of Spring 2009 are Apr 18, and June 13.
