Patchworks Quilt Ministry

patchworks Our purpose is to express Jesus' love in a tangible way through the gift of a quilt. We meet eight times per ministry year to make simple baby quilts to give to the Fox Valley Pregnancy Center in South  Elgin and the Evangelical Child and Family Agency in Wheaton. Our desire is that Patchworks function as a ministry, not as a quilting group. Quilts are merely the means we use to touch others' lives with Jesus' love.

A sewing machine in good working order, basic sewing supplies and neutral thread are necessary but quilting experience is not - we have many members who are willing to teach the basics of quilting. Our pattern is very basic and no hand quilting is necessary. Fabric and batting are provided, or you may bring your own. We invite you to join us!
