Angie Thomas, Director of Contemporary Worship Ministries
Angie is the primary worship leader & coordinator for the contemporary worship services at FBCG. She also oversees the sound, media and video ministries at the West Campus. With a bachelor’s degree in vocal performance from Moody Bible Institute and a master’s degree in church music from Concordia University, Angie’s musical gifts are diverse. She is a member of the Grant Park Festival Chorus, has participated on several recording projects and is hired to lead the music for various retreats, conferences and events in Chicago. Joshua McClure, Director of Traditional Worship Ministries
Having participated in church worship services since the age of 8, Joshua continues to use his God-given talents to lead the Traditional Worship Ministry at the East Campus. While he is often seen playing the organ for church services, weddings and funerals, Joshua works full-time behind the scenes, coordinating all of the details of the Traditional Worship Ministry: Sanctuary Choir, Orchestra, Youth Orchestra, soloists, ensembles and special events. Eric Elftmann, Worship Associate, Contemporary Worship
Musically gifted with vocal and keyboard skills, Eric is regularly seen on the platform singing in the Worship Choir and playing the piano. He is the choral teacher at Hubble Middle School in Wheaton, IL. Michael Devine, Worship Associate, Traditional Worship
Michael directs the Sanctuary Choir and leads the singing for the Traditional Worship services at FBCG. He is in the process of obtaining his music education degree at Wheaton College. Michael’s love for choral music has been cultivated his whole life, thanks in part to the time he spent as a member of the Vienna Boychoir in Austria.
Bob Gerard, Worship Associate, Creative Communications
If you have enjoyed a dramatic presentation or a video during a worship service or a special event at FBCG, you have enjoyed the talents of Bob Gerard. Although he works full-time at Accenture in St. Charles, he offers his gifts as the co-director of FBCG’s drama ministry, Searchlight Players, and the creative video ministry. Blair Skinner, Worship Associate, Traditional Worship
As an accomplished violinist, Blair uses his gifts at FBCG to conduct both the adult and youth orchestras. He has been the concertmaster for the Wheaton Symphony Orchestra for 4 years. Blair will graduate from Wheaton College in May 2008, when he hopes to go on for his master’s degree in conducting.
