Want to Serve?

Do you long to make a difference in another person's life? Do you want to live more generously so that others can see God in you? Are you looking for ways to serve something outside yourself? At FBCG, we believe that a desire to serve is perhaps the greatest sign that one is growing more and more like Jesus. God has given each of us gifts to help build the church and extend his love and compassion to a needy world. This is why we offer so many ways for you to make a contribution of your time, talents, resources and heart.

Explore the many opportunities to serve at FBCG, including

• Short-term, world-wide experiences on Short Term Missions Teams that provide practical assistance and share the love of Jesus  
• Community Outreach ministry, which helps meet the needs of struggling neighbors through numerous local organizations
• Volunteering time and talent to a Ministry Team within FBCG.

Immediate Needs:

• Hospitality Team is looking for ushers for Saturday evening worship service. If you could offer to help occasionally talk with Willie Padilla.
• Meals are needed for families during difficult times. Contact the church office to volunteer a few times a year.
• Help is needed preparing the elements for Communion Services. This is a task that is shared and will not be needed every month. Contact Cindy Leidig.
• Essentials are needed for refugee families.  48 refugee families are arriving soon to our area. Help is needed to create Welcome to America kits for the families. Cassette Tape Recorders are also needed. Contact Ruth Nelson. Click here to learn more about our Refugee Ministry
