Other Ways to Serve We believe that God has a significant place of service in mind for every one of us – and that when we find that place of service we experience the joy and satisfaction of knowing we are participants and not just consumers or spectators. FBCG needs volunteers to help in maintenance and office help. If you would like to help in one of these areas, please contact the church office, 630.232.7068 Offering Counters Facility Set up Kitchen Cleaners Landscape Maintenance Building Maintenance and repair Office help The Church Library has a need for several volunteers who can work two hours per month. No computer knowledge is necessary. Hours can be flexible. Openings are available on both campuses. Contact the church office, 630.232.7068 Many hands are needed to prepare for the East Campus Sanctuary refurbishing. During the week of May 12 -18 we need to move some pews and other furniture and instruments, wrap the remaining pews in plastic, cover the organ pipe chambers, take down drapes, cover the carpet with plastic runners and take down the chandelier globes. If you are available to help with any of this work that week or are available to volunteer at other times this summer, please contact John Harper or Eric Harris, 630.232.7068.
