Serve in Hospitality
FBCG is dedicated to creating a warm and welcome environment for members and guests. Those serving in hospitality are the face that welcomes a visitor when they walk in our doors; the face that brings comfort when a member experiences loss; the face that shares joy at the birth of a child and celebrates at a wedding. If you have the gift of hospitality, consider how you can serve at FBCG.

First Impressions Team
Inspired by Romans 15:7, First Impressions Team servants welcome FBCG church family and guests, creating a warm first impression. There are five areas of service including Greeters, Welcome Center Volunteers, Cafe Attendants, First Connections Volunteers, and First-Time Guest Follow-Up Callers. Greeters serve a 15-minute shift before the service of their choice, holding open the front doors and welcoming people as they enter the building. Welcome Center Volunteers serve 15 minutes before and after their choice service, standing behind a kiosk to answer questions that people have about various ministries. Our Cafe Attendants stand behind the coffee bar, greet people, and make sure pastries are restocked and available. First Connections Volunteers greet newcomers who stop by the Glass Room at the West Campus between services. Visitor Follow-Up Callers make contact with any guests who fill out a Connection Card, welcoming them to the church and passing along any information about the ministries of the church.

Ushers
Ushers serve on a rotational basis on both campuses to distribute bulletins, collect the offering, seat worshippers and provide building security. As we plan for three services on the West Campus this fall, about 25 additional people are needed.
