FBCG Annual Church PIG-Nic
Pig Roast and Potluck

1 p.m.

Come and spend the afternoon with everyone who calls FBCG their church home at our annual FBCG “Pig-nic”. Visit with old friends and make some new ones! There will be music for the adults and games for kids of all ages! Bring a dish or two to share. Meat and beverages are provided. The picnic will begin after the last service and food will begin to be served at 1:00 p.m.

An outdoor baptism service is planned during the picnic at 3:00. If you are interested in being baptized at the service contact the church office.

The Annual meeting will follow the baptism service, at 4:00p.m. All who call FBCG their church home are invited to the annual meeting. Hear an update on FBCG's vision, plans, and budget for the upcoming fiscal year. If you’re a member, be sure to pick up your absentee ballots if you can’t stay for the meeting. Bio's on all EC candidates are available to download. the Annual Report and 2010-2011 Budget are available on a table in the lobby.

We need a number of adults to sign up to supervise the use of the inflatable toys during the picnic! To sign up for a 30 minute time slot visit the Welcome Kiosk in the lobby!

Summer Worship Schedule

This summer we will celebrate our unity and fellowship as a church by worshiping together on one campus!

Family Worship Weekend
August 22, 29 and September 5

Families are encouraged to worship together during these three weekends. Children's Ministries and Student Ministries are giving all their servants a much deserved break. There will be no Children's Ministries programs, including Saturday night KIDMO and Sunday School programs during those weekends. There will be no Sunday School programs for 5th - 8th Grades. Fall Kick-Off will be September 13th.

Child Care will be provided for birth - 36 months.

TREK (9th - 12th Grades) will take a break on August 16 and 23. Fall Kick-OFF will be Sunday, August 30th at the East Campus.

aboveground (College and Career Ministries) will not be meeting August 23 or September 6.
