God has created us for relationships. He has created us to connect to Him and to connect to others. We recognize that in a church the size of FBCG, it is very easy to feel alone and isolated. Therefore, we offer a dynamic, multi-faceted small group ministry as a way for you to connect to others. At First Baptist Church of Geneva, we call small groups C-Groups. C-Groups are the channels through which we can "exhort one another every day, as long as it is called 'today,' that none of [us] may be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin" (Hebrews 3:12-13). This is reflected in our commitment to connection: connecting people to Jesus Christ through worship and study and connecting people to each other through Christ-centered community.
FBCG provides a growing network of seven types of C-Groups. We encourage you to explore the library of recommended resources below.
Adult Discipleship Library Curriculum The Adult Discipleship Department has an ever-growing curriculum library of resources you can use to help you lead your Adult Learning Communities and C-Groups most effectively. All of these resources are available in the main office of the East Campus on the lower level. You may borrow these materials free of charge. All ALC and C-Group Leaders receive their discussion guides free of charge. At your request, the Adult Discipleship Department will order additional copies for group participants. Group participants will be charged the price of the book and/or discussion guide.
