Giving
At FBCG we believe giving is both a privilege and a responsibility. Giving is a privilege because when we give we not only express our worship and thanksgiving to God, but we actually participate in what he is doing all over the world. Giving is a responsibility because God expects us to give and when we give we express a sense of belonging with our church family.
At FBCG we believe the Bible teaches God wants our giving to come from the heart – that is – motivated by love, not by obligation. Furthermore, we believe that the Biblical standard for giving is “generously.”
Our hope is that whether you have been giving faithfully for many years or are just getting started in this part of your spiritual journey, you will feel a deep sense of God’s pleasure as you grow in generosity!
At FBCG there are several ways to give.
- You can give in one of our worship services at the offering time. The church will provide a set of “giving envelopes” to you as both a way to make record keeping easier and to keep your gift confidential.
- You can give electronically by setting up an automatic withdrawal from your bank account.
- If you would like to make a “gift-in-kind” of stock or property please contact Eric Harris.
