For people who are affected by the consequences of family and friends who are dealing with addictions.
Realize that the God who made you has the power to restore you. "I wait quietly before God, for my hope is in him. He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress where I will not be shaken." Psalms 62:5-6
This group will be lead by Pastor Roger Crites and Natalie Pamphile who is a doctoral intern with Meijer Clinic in Wheaton. Natalie's experience is in residential substance abuse treatment as well as group, individual and family counseling.
This seven week series will address such issues as:
What is addiction?
What happens in the family of an addict?
Coping and self-care
Grief, loss and shame
Dare to hope
Reconciliation and Restoration
