Adventure Club (Grades 1st - 4th)
Adventure Club is an action-packed program in which kids sing, watch skits, hear Bible stories, play games, do crafts and develop relationships with Christian adult role models as they learn Bible verses, share concerns and pray together.

"His Excellent Righteous Obedient Eternal Servants”
Kids today are looking for heroes. They know all about the latest movie stars, athletes, and music groups, but these are not the kind of people we want our children to imitate. God's Word tells us that all have sinned, no matter how smart, beautiful, athletic or popular a person may be. Well, if that's the case, then who can children look up to? What makes someone heroic? The answer is simply this - that ordinary people can be heroes when they allow God to work in their lives to do extraordinary things. Being heroic is letting God's Spirit take control and use you the way He desires for His glory. On this "adventure", we'll be looking at the lives of great people from God's Word like Noah, Joseph, Moses, Gideon, Ruth, Mary and many others. We'll see how God worked in their lives to develop obedience, forgiveness, wisdom, power, love, a willingness to be used by God and many other wonderful heroic traits!
Meets: Wednesdays, 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. October 6, 2010 through April 20, 2011
No Adventure Club November 24, December 15, 22, 29 or March 30.
Location: West Campus
As a safety measure, all parents need to bring their children into the building and pick them up at the end of the evening. No children will be independently released.
