• Praise –Thankful for prayers as the T people recorded the entire New Testament in their language in dramatic form over many weeks. There was so much learning in that –from setting up a recording studio in our friend Y’s home to training in reading dramatically, editing recorded versions etc. Please pray now as the final editing takes place and the whole thing is put together by Faith Cometh by Hearing…Pray as those who cannot read use it…and also as it helps those learning to read alongside listening. For His word to bear fruit.
• Prayer –as Jan and Ed travel overseas in the coming 6 weeks… and train alongside senior consultants in checking Scriptures in different local languages for naturalness and accuracy. It is very detailed, exacting work using linguistic and translation principles, but exciting work - knowing that many are receiving God’s word in their own languages…It is humbling work too, and we want our lives to be worthy of the Gospel. What a joy when He can speak to hearts more deeply and clearly through good translations of His word. Pray for Ed and Jan’s health; for balance in work and ministry and life. Pray that they stay close to Christ in their own daily walks, and live out of His strength and wisdom.
