Current prayer requests:

1. A few months back, Kiki accepted Christ. Please pray for her in her new walk with Christ. She is excited about everything new. Please pray that she will form a firm foundation during her first steps toward Christ.
2. Please pray for Alca (Alena). Alca just recently had her first Spiritual birthday, and is definitely being attacked through discouragement.
3. Our youth leadership team (including staff as well as students) has recently gone through a big change. A good majority of our team had to step down from leadership at the beginning of the year. Two left to go back to the states, and four had to leave in order to study for exams. With our team cut in half, it's definitely put a lot more responsibility on the rest of us. It's been exciting to watch new students step up into leadership, but it's still not an easy transition. Please pray for us as we’re still transitioning to a smaller leadership team with a bigger youth group.
4. I’ll be honest, I’m not a fan of talking about my finances. I used to say I would never be a missionary because I never wanted to ask people for money. I was told when I first started with JV that this is an opportunity to let people be a part of what God is doing. My monthly support is not where it needs to be in order for me to keep living here. I’m short about $500 a month! If you would like to be a part of what God is doing here in this way you can click here or use the JV address to send it in there.

• Youth group on Friday nights has been exploding! We’ve had to move to a different room because the youth room isn’t big enough anymore. Sometimes I feel like we have more students than we can take care of, but it’s a great problem to have. :)
